Hi Albert,

I was showing my brother and my mom what you showed me yesterday and it touched them as much as it touched me. I told my brother that you said I should bring him by and maybe we could grab lunch or something and he liked that idea. He lives in San Diego right now because he's going to UCSD but he should be in town in the next couple weeks. If your working on one of those saturdays maybe we can swing by? Also, I am interested in volunteering some time if there's something I can do (driving someone somewhere, spending time with someone, or even taking someone to a fun place for a day or whatever) so if you have anything I'd love to get involved. I'm sure we can talk more about this when we see you though. Thanks for spending time with me yesterday.

You really did make me proud to be of Assyrian decent yesterday :)

Youkie,

The news on the passing of Sargon Yousif came to me at 2 a.m. this morning.

The Assyrian Medical Society shares beautiful memories in the short-lived journey of this young man.  I still recall Chairman Albert Davidoo's excitement when he came to me with Sargon's story, as if having stumbled upon a "treasure chest."  We were all equally enthusiastic to share in the  glory we call "humanity" of helping this young man.

Today, we bid his journeying spirit farewell, with our deepest love to a unique soul, having found and moved all of us.

Our nation is deprived of a young man we came to know as Sargon Yousif.

Lovingly,
~ Helen Talia,
Chicago Director

Samir Butros ( AMS Patient )

In my town of Karemlash there are only 3000 to 4000 people. We are self-sufficient and we are generous. I am proud of my community, but when I was injured by a bomb, my community could only do so much. Fortunately for me, Dr. Saroud Saleem Magdassi found out about my situation and the result has been a global effort of support to help me to walk.

In my journey brought about by my accident, I have met all angels. I’m going to name some of these people and what they’ve done, but first let me thank all of you for coming. You have not only touched me, but my family and my entire community. I am grateful to Dr. Saroud Saleem Magdassi of Assyrian Democratic Movement for his good efforts in providing treatment for me in Iraq and enabling me to come here to Los Angeles.

My family is also grateful to Assyrian Medical society ( Mr. Albert Davodoo, Mr. Uk khaninya & Dr. Samer Jona) in America for offering financial support through its generous organization. They pay for house, they pay for food, they pay for everything.
Thanks also to the staff of the hotel Ronald McDonald House , where my mother and I stay and where we have been befriended by many of the kind guests. And my teachers (Mr. Jeff and Mr. Mack) who have given me insights into American life and helped me with the English language. I will never forget my experiences at Shriners: the kind drivers, the nurses, medical staff ---these are some of the best people in the world. Dr. Cetrulo jr., Curtis and medical team at Shriner hospitals who performed the surgical operation to my foot to attach nerve tissue to give me enough sensation to eventually walk.

Before I leave you, I have to say thanks and love to my mother. Thank you and thank God for everything.

Dear Youkie,

May God repay you and your teams for all that you have and still is doing. I am really very proud of you. Keep it up dear Youkie.

God Bless you, your team and family.

Only that you are aware, on 16th of this month Beate and I are flying to seatle and from there to Vancouver. I hope to keep you briefed when we are back..

Hi Albert,

Yesterday it was a great experience I personally witnessed how important is it for our community to see and help our young blood brothers and sisters. Arbella is living in small town with 35 or little more families who has three churches and no school not even in few small neighboring towns.

I would like to thank you for your humanitarian work, thoughts and willingness and to put so much effort on every single days to see these kids has been treated perfectly.

I truly admire all your effort and work, I and my wife are there for you any time any day just pick up the phone.

with great respect and regards

Dear Albert,

Assyrian should be proud of you and Dr.Samir, who are working so hard for their nation in such human way.
You will be in our daily prayer and we wish you the best of success, health and prosperity in your personal life and in well guided spirit.

I truly like to be and stay anonymous, but if this will help for promoting other families to come on board and
participate in such noble cause, by all means go ahead and do what is right for this purpose.

God Bless Atour
Best regards

Dear Albert,

I want to express my utmost appreciation for the privilege of visiting the Assyrian patients from Iraq at the Ronald McDonald hospital. The experience last night alone inspires me to become more involved with the Assyrian Medical Society and I finally recognize the good deeds that have been done not just for the Assyrian community but for humanity as a whole on a grand scale through such proud organizations like the Ronald McDonald Hospital, the Assyrian Medical Society, and the freemasons.

Until next time, please give Mimi, Allen, and Anita my warmest regards.
Sincerely,

David Odisho

On behalf of Juan Alexader Gama, his mother and my self, please extend the WARMEST and MOST SINCERE THANK YOU! to the Assyrian Medical Society for all the philanthropic work to give kids the opportunity of a better life.

There is no doubt, as we have been given the opportunity to witness, when good ideas and wills merge, the feeling of that synergy is so great that actually is hard to describe.

Once again, thank you! for your commitment with humanity!

Sincerely Yours

Alejandro (Alex) Rosillo
