Mariam Raaed Jizani is a young Iraqi baby girl who was transferred to King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan for embryonic tumor of the face. Her treatment proved to be very expensive and several charities, both local and international have been pitching in with the necessary funds.

The Medical Relief Project (MRP) had stepped up to its responsibility, and allocated some financial assistant towards the medical care of Mariam. It has been reported that Mariam is improving and is in the process of being transferred to the USA for surgical treatment.
