Delan Khaled Abdulahad is 13 years old boy from Musol, Iraq who has been losing his vision. There was some controversy about his diagnosis due to lack of resources required for proper diagnosis.

Arrangements were made through the help of the National Iraqi Assistance Center (NIAC) for him to go to Baghdad, and possibly to Amman, Jordan for proper evaluation and or treatment.

Unfortunately, comprehensive examinations in a specialized center in Baghdad casted no doubt that his condition was not treatable. The child was returned back to Mosul to his family.
