Story:

Araden Napoleon is 4 years old girl, an Iraqi refugee in Syria who was born with a congenital defect in her heart (ASD). The patient required intervention that was not available in Syria. Arrangements were finally made through a Syrian charity (a-akhaa’) and a French charity to transfer the child to France for treatment. The family was short on finances and the Medical Relief Project (MRP) was able to provide the needed funds for the transport.

The child successfully underwent the treatment in France in June of 2008, and was brought back to Syria in excellent condition.
