Sundus  is a 33  years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who suffered recurrent right upper quadrant pain. She was diagnosed with symptomatic cholelithiasis, for which she was recommended to undergo laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgery was successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (20,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery.
