Sultane is a 57  years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with recurrent right upper quadrant pain diagnosed to have cholelithiasis, with possible choledocholithiasis, for which she was advised to undergo cholecystectomy with common bile duct exploration.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgery was successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (35,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery.
