Story:
Sindus is an adult female Iraqi Refugee in Syria who has been having recurrent upper abdominal pain believed to be secondary to gallbladder disease. She was advised to undergo laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved the care and the surgery was performed successfully in Syria at a cost of (20,000 SL).
