Story:

Samira  is a 50  years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who suffered spotting. She was evaluated by a gynecologist in Syria and was found to have an enlarged uterus with some endometrial atypia, for which she was advised to undergo laparoscopic total abdominal hysterectomy.
The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgery was successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (24,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery.
