Salwa is 47 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who has been having some gynecological complications believed to be secondary to her intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD). She has been advised to have it removed under anesthesia.

The patient was referred to the Assyrian medical Society by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian medical Society had approved hrs care, which was completed successfully in Damascus, Syria at a cost of (8,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery
