Sahar  is a 30 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with chronic pains due to an ovarian cyst. She was seen in Syria and advised to undergo ovarian cystectomy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgery was successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (30,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery.
