Story:

Sabah  is a middle age Iraqi refugee in Syria with recurrent perianal pain, bleeding and discharge. The patient was evaluated by a surgeon who recommended internal lateral sphincterotomy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved his care. The proposed surgery  was  successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (8,000 SL). The patient has recovered since.
