Rabab is 35 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who was diagnosed with intrauterine fetal demise. She requires abortion with placement of IUD.

The patient was referred to the Assyrian Medical Society by the AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society had approved her care on urgent basis. The surgery was completed successfully on February 22, 2010 at a cost of ($8,000). She is reported to be in a good condition.
