Nisan is a 36 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria, the father of two girls who suffered injury to his left shoulder causing lateral clavicular dislocation with lateral ligamental tears for which surgical intervention was indicated after failure of expectant management.

The patient was referred to the Assyrian Medical Society by the AAS-S. The Medical Relief Project of the AMS has approved his care in Syria at a cost of (30, 000, 00 SL). Open reduction with repair of ligamental tear was performed successfully. The patient is currently recovering at home.
