Story:
Nagham is a 32 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with chronic abdominal pain for which work up showed ovarian cysts. She has been advised to undergo ovarian cystectomy at a local hospital.
The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgery was successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (25,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery.
