Nada  is a 47 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who was recently diagnosed with multi-nodular goiter  for which subtotal thyroidectomy was advised.

The patient was referred to Assyrian Medical Society by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the  Assyrian Medical Society has approved her surgical care in Syria at a cost of (24,750 SL) . The surgery was completed successfully and the patient was reported to be in good condition.
