Story:

Mavin  is an 11 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with enlarged tonsils and adenoids leading to recurrent infections and complications of upper respiratory tract. He was seen in Syria and advised to undergo tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgeries were successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (7,000 SL). The patient has recovered since.
