Marina is a 28 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with chronic pains due to fibroid tumors. She was seen in Syria and advised to undergo fibroidectomy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgeries were successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (23,000 SL). The patient has recovered since.
