Majdoline  is a 51 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria diagnosed with multinodular goiter for which she was advised to undergo a subtotal thyroidectomy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved her care. The proposed surgery was successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (24,000 SL). She is expected to make a full recovery.
