Khoshaba is an Iraqi refugee in Syria, 55 years old and a father of 6 children who has lost his ability to hear. This has been interfering with his ability to interact with his surroundings. Patient has been examined in Syria and was prescribed a hearing aid which he could not afford.

The AAS-Syria had referred the patient to the Assyrian Medical Society for help. The Medical relief Project has approved financial support in the amount of (25,000 SL) that was used for making a custom built hearing aid.
