Story:

Khoshaba is a 59 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with impaired vision due to cataract. He was seen by an Ophthalmologist who recommended excision of the cataract and placement of intraocular implant.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved his care. The proposed surgery  was  successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (25,000 SL). The patient has recovered since.
