Esther is a 64 years old Iraqi Refugee in Syria who has been diagnosed with diminished vision due to cataract of the right eye. She was advised to undergo extraction of the cataract and intraocular lens implant.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved the care and the surgery was performed successfully in Syria at a cost of (25,000 SL).
