Dhafir is a 39 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who was diagnosed with multimodal goiter for which he was advised to undergo total thyroidectomy.

The patient was referred to us by the AAS-S. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved his care. He successfully underwent total thyroidectomy  in Syria at a cost of (25,000 SL). He is reported to be in good condition.
