Ashkhan is 46 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who has been having some peri-umbilical pain due to a hernia.

The patient was referred to Assyrian Medical Society by the AAS-Syria. The patient requires a surgical repair of the hernia in Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved the surgical care at a cost of (10,000 SL). The patient underwent the repair successfully on March 3rd, 2010.
