Albert is a 47 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria with bleeding per rectum. The patient was advised to undergo diagnostic and possible therapeutic colonoscopy.

The patient was referred to us by AAS-Syria. The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society has approved his care. The proposed procedures were  successfully completed at a local hospital in Syria at a cost of (13,000 SL). The patient has recovered since.
