The Assyrian Medical Society is a charitable 501 (c) (3) organization helping the Medical needs of Assyrians and occasionally non-Assyrians as well. In October of 2008, the Assyrian Medical Society was entrusted to operate the Medical Relief Project that offers medical care to our Assyrian brothers and sisters throughout the world. Our volunteers are the backbone of this organization. All of our fundraising events require the help of volunteers. We work with local and international organizations to develop cost-effective solutions to help our Assyrian patients. These charitable organizations deliver in a practical way, sensitive to local culture, with minimal administrative costs.
This fund provides medical care to Assyrians in need of medical care, payments of the ordinary and necessary expenses of transporting Assyrian patients locally or internationally, and finally payments of ordinary and necessary lodging and meals for the Assyrian patients and their guardians.
